Where in the round does your body start managing instead of playing?
The swing rarely breaks down because of your technique. It breaks down because your hips and mid-back stopped sharing the work — and somewhere around hole eleven, your low back starts covering for both.
None of these mean you are done. They mean something in the chain is not holding up its end — and that is a training problem, not an age problem.
You are here because you want your distance back. Because you do not want to be the one riding while everyone else walks, or the one whose round quietly ends at hole twelve. Because a season spent managing your back is a season you do not get again.
That is not vanity. That is the whole point. The course is where you compete, where your friends are, and where you find out you have still got it.
So we do not train you to be generally healthier. We train you so eighteen holes stops being the hardest thing your body does all week — and you finish the round swinging like you did on the first tee.
Not chasing perfection. Building preparation.
Physical therapy gets you out of crisis and stops when the insurance does. A personal trainer hands you exercises and counts your reps. Neither one teaches you why your elbow hurts on a Tuesday and not a Thursday.
We live in the space between the two — and we teach, so you leave able to make your own next decision. Here is what that actually looks like.
Simple movements and physical tests to see how your body actually responds — how you rotate, how you load one leg, what your ankles and hips contribute. There is no passing or failing. The goal is awareness, and it usually explains the pain within the first twenty minutes.
Pain shows up where the load lands, not where the problem started. Your elbow is often covering for a rib cage that won't rotate; your knee for hips and ankles that stopped participating. We work the cause, not the complaint.
Golf asks for rotation you can actually access, a stable base to rotate against, and the endurance to repeat it ninety times. We build the parts of the chain that stopped contributing, so your low back stops paying for them.
Everything we teach runs through the Discover Your Life Through Movement system.
Slow down, pay attention, ask better questions. You stop guessing about your own body.
Stop being steered by an old injury or the story you've told yourself about it.
Primers that prepare your body, patterns that organize movement, positions that build strength and control.
The 8 Essentials that determine whether your training actually holds — including sleep, recovery, and nourishment.
"I have been lifting weights my whole adult life, but I needed something to add to my routine that would help with flexibility and mobility. Alex listened and showed me several exercises to integrate into my workout. I really appreciate his collaborative, adaptable approach."
"It is like he knew the code to unlock my body after many long years of desk work. Years later I am enjoying my greatest flexibility, agility and balance. I recommend them 1000%."
"Their holistic understanding of the body and how they communicate keeps it very simple and effective. I have known and personally worked with them over the last 8 years and their skills are top notch."
